ChampionBuild was the main contractor on the refurbishment of this 5 bedroom, period house in Highgate, London.
A large property, covering 3,800 sq. ft, we worked closely with our architectural partners to provide a complete transformation. From a typical 1930’s style house with lots of small rooms and little natural light, we turned the property into a light, airy and highly contemporary residence. The ground floor is now a series of interconnected ‘life-style spaces’, with an open-plan living/kitchen/dining area, linked together by white oak flooring, provided by Element 7.
To maximise space and light, we extended beyond the kitchen to create the property’s prime feature, a Culmax maxi light glass box; with frameless glazing on all sides and overhead, the Culmax provides uninterrupted views of the landscaped garden and swimming pool.
To meet with the clients’ specific requests, individual highlights include the use of natural stone throughout, a prestigious Polyform kitchen and bespoke glass staircase and balcony. To ensure a consistent look and feel, the oak stair treads, window surrounds, interior doors and first floor boards were all created and built by ChampionBuild’s joinery team.
